Fellows, Ohman, Butera Earn Weekly Baseball Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Following strong performances on the diamond in the first weekend of Ivy play, Columbia’s Cole Fellows (player), Yale’s Jack Ohman (pitcher) and Brown’s Christian Butera (rookie) earned Ivy League weekly baseball honors.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Cole Fellows, Columbia (Jr., OF – Clovis, Calif.)
  • Was 9-for-17 (.529 BA) this week with two home runs and 10 RBIs in Columbia’s sweep of Brown
  • Scored eight runs and drew five walks as the Lions went 4-1 on the week
 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Jack Ohman, Yale (Fy., P – Mesa, Ariz.)
  • Tossed 6.0 innings without allowing an earned run in the series finale against Cornell
  • struck out a career-high nine batters while only walking one
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Christian Butera, Brown (Fr., 3B – East Greenwich, R.I.)
  • Posted a .455/.538/1.636 slash line with four home runs, five RBIs and five runs scored over Brown’s three games at Columbia
  • Homered in all three games, all five of his hits went for extra bases, and all of them drove in run
