Harvard's Ramsden, Ratcliffe, and Saretsky Claim Women's Indoor Track & Field Major Awards; Academic All-Ivy Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. — Jason Saretsky was voted Coach of the Year following the 2023 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field championship. Saretsky guided Harvard to their ninth overall women’s title. The Crimson also won the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country meet.
 
The Harvard women won the meet by 25.5 points at 177 points. Princeton finished in second with 151.5 points and Penn finished in third with 90.5 points. Columbia and Dartmouth tied for fourth at 53.33 points as Brown (48), Cornell (32.33), and Yale (14) rounded out the bottom.
 
Harvard’s Maia Ramsden was named the Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet after taking the gold medal in the mile as well as the 1000m run. The two wins earned 20 team points for the Crimson. 

Stephanie Ratcliffe of Harvard was named Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet after setting an Ivy League all-time record in the weight throw. The record-setting mark of 21.88m earned 10 points for Harvard.
 
Additionally, one Ivy League women’s indoor track and field student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and in sport as members of the 2022-23 Ivy League Women’s Indoor Track and Field Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s Lauren Yeboah-Kodie, Columbia’s Rachel Marsh, Cornell’s Ama Boham, Dartmouth’s Emma Cunningham, Harvard’s Stephanie Ratcliffe, Penn’s Aliya Garozzo, Princeton’s Maggie Liebich and Yale’s Aliya Boshnak were each named to the team.
