Penn Men's Soccer Claims Second-Straight Regular Season Title

PHILADELPHIA — Following a 4-1 win over Princeton on Saturday evening, the Penn Quakers clinched the Ivy League men's soccer title for the second-straight season. With the win, the Quakers also earned the No. 1 seed and will host the upcoming inaugural Ivy League men's soccer tournament on November 10 & 12.

After falling down 1-0 just seven minutes into the game, the Quakers responded well with goals in the eighth and 11th minutes to retake the lead. Another goal towards the end of the first half gave Penn a two-goal cushion going into the second half. From there, Penn added another goal courtesy of Oliver Pratt on the way to the victory.

This marks Penn's second consecutive men’s soccer championship and 10th overall as the Quakers become the first team to repeat since Dartmouth did so in 2016-17.

Next weekend's Ivy League men's soccer tournament will be hosted at Dunning-Cohen Champions Field. Click here for the tournament central page. Tickets will go on sale on Monday afternoon.
