Harvard Coach Jason Saretsky Voted Ivy League Women's Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Harvard women’s head coach Jason Saretsky was voted Coach of the Year following the 2022 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field championship. Saretsky guided Harvard to their seventh overall women’s title. The Crimson also took the crown at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country meet.
 
On the women’s side, Harvard won the meet by 41 points at 153 points. Princeton finished in second with 112 points and Penn finished in third with 89 points. The Cornell women dominated in the field, but finished in fourth at 78 points. Columbia (61), Yale (56), Dartmouth (43) and Brown (28) round out the final ledger.
 
Cornell’s Beatrice Juskevicute was named the Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet after totaling 14 points. She tallied 10 points in the pentathlon by finishing on top of the podium and tallied four points in the women’s 60-meter hurdles. Her mark of 4,116 points in the pentathlon is a new meet record. Tina Martin of Harvard was named Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet after finishing first in the 60m dash, 200m dash and 4x400m relay. She contributed 20 individual points and 10 points in the winning relay to help Harvard clinch the Ivy title.
 
Additionally, one Ivy League women’s indoor track and field student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and in sport as members of the 2021-22 Ivy League Women’s Indoor Track and Field Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s Sydney Scott, Columbia’s Tiffany Bautista, Cornell’s Marguerite Lorenzo, Dartmouth’s Lily Lockhart, Harvard’s Alana Carroll, Penn’s Skyla Wilson, Princeton’s Luisa Chantler-Edmond and Yale’s  Maya Sharp were each named to the team.
