Alpine Skiing and Biathlon Highlight Day 11 in Beijing

BEIJING -- It was a quiet day for Ivies in Beijing on day 11 of the Winter Olympic Games as two Dartmouth athletes highlighted competition in Alpine Skiing and Biathlon.
 
Tommy Ford competed in his first race of Beijing in the men’s giant slalom. Ford finished in 19th during his first run and improved to finishing seventh in his second run, just out of medal contention.
 
Additionally for Dartmouth, Susan Dunklee competed in her fourth event as she took 40th place in the women’s 10k pursuits.
 
Women’s hockey semifinals are set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 11:10 p.m. EST.
