PRINCETON, N.J. – Following strong individual performances which led their teams to victories, Yale’s Hamilton Moore and Joshua Pitsenberger as well as Penn’s Aidan Sayin and Dartmouth’s Ryan Bloch took home the final weekly Ivy League football awards for the 2022 season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Aidan Sayin, Penn (So., QB – Carlsbad, Calif.)
- Completed 81 percent of his passes in Penn’s win over Princeton
- Was 38-for-47 through the air for 261 yards and two touchdowns
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hamilton Moore, Yale (Jr., LB – Raleigh, N.C.)
- Had two crucial interceptions and record a team-high six tackles to lead Yale over Harvard
- His first pick came while Harvard was in the red zone and his second was with 24 seconds left, which sealed the win
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ryan Bloch, Dartmouth (Sr., K – Naples, Fla.)
- Was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts and 2-for-2 on PATs
- Had one touchback and averaged 52.8 yards per kickoff
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Joshua Pitsenberger, Yale (Fr., RB – Bethesda, Md.)
- Rushed for 82 yards on 21 attempts against Harvard’s stout rushing defense
- Posted a long run of 26 yards
