PRINCETON, N.J. – Following strong performances last weekend, Harvard’s Charlie Dean, Columbia’s Scott Valentas, Cornell’s Davon Kiser and Yale’s Joshua Pitsenberger earned Ivy League football weekly awards.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Charlie Dean, Harvard (Sr., QB – Odessa, Fla.)

• Completed 29-of-38 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns – marking career highs in completions, yards, and touchdowns – to help lead Harvard over Penn
• His 76.3 completion percentage was a season high

 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Scott Valentas, Columbia (Sr., LB – Wichita, Kan.)

• Led all players with 13 tackles, picked off two passes and had three pass breakups in a win over Brown
• In overtime, he made two tackles and broke up the final play on fourth down to help Columbia seal the victory

 
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Davon Kiser, Cornell (Fr., WR/KR – Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.)

• Returned a third quarter kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown for the go-ahead score in a win over Dartmouth
• Was the first kick return for a touchdown by a Cornell player since 2011

 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Joshua Pitsenberger, Yale (Fr., RB – Bethesda, Md.)

• Gained 108 yards and rushed for one touchdown on 20 attempts in a win over Princeton
• His 1-yard scoring run in the second quarter gave Yale a 7-0 lead, and his 29-yard run, his longest of the day, set up Yale's final score of the day
