PRINCETON, N.J. – As the 2019 Ivy League men’s soccer season wrapped up, Yale senior midfielder Miguel Yuste earned Player of the Week, while Penn’s Kai Lammers was dubbed Rookie of the Week.
Yale clinched its first Ivy League title since 2005 and the program's first outright title since 1991. The Bulldogs finished the 2019 season 13-2-2 overall and 6-1 in league play. The 13 overall wins match the 1999 team for the most in school history and the six league victories tie the 1989 team for the most in Yale history. The selection show for the 2019 NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament will be on November 18, 2019 at 1 p.m. The 48-team bracket will be announced during

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Miguel Yuste, Yale (Sr., M – Northfield Mount Hermon)
- Contributed three points in the regular season finale
- Scored a goal and dished out an assist as yale registered a 2-1 win at Princeton
- Helped Yale to a 13-2-2 overall record, matching the program’s record for most wins in a single season.

Kai Lammers, Penn (Fr., D – Greenwich, Conn.)

- Scored the opening goal in Penn’s 2-0 win at Harvard
- Helped the Quakers post their second straight shutout, fourth in the last five matches and seventh overall this season
- Penn finished 3-1-1 in Ivy League play, its best since 2013
