PRINCETON, N.J. -- Nine of the 25 Ivies on National Football League (NFL) rosters during Week 7 appeared for their respective teams.
Harvard alumnus and 15-year NFL veteran quarterback
Ryan Fitzpatrick regained the Miami Dolphins starting job and accumulated 282 yards and a touchdown on 23-for-35 passing. In the process, he became the 46th NFL quarterback all-time to reach the 30,000 career passing yard plateau. He also rushed six times for 13 yards and another touchdown.
Fellow Crimson product tight end
Anthony Firkser made it back-to-back weeks with a 25-or-more-yard grab with a 27-yard reception for the Tennessee Titans.
Three Ivies combined for 12 tackles on defense or special teams. Penn alum
Brandon Copeland had a seven-tackle day for the New York Jets, while fellow linebacker
Foye Oluokun out of Yale had three take-downs for the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons’ other Yale alumnus, tight end
Jaeden Graham, added a pair of tackles on special teams.

Ben Braunecker (Harvard, Chicago Bears),
Tyler Ott (Harvard, Seattle Seahawks) and
Seth DeValve (Princeton, Jacksonville Jaguars) also saw game action in Week 7.
Twenty-two Ivies earned National Football League (NFL) roster spots entering the 2019 season, with 16 on 53-man active rosters, six on 10-man practice squads and three on reserve lists during Week 7.
Twenty-four Ivies appeared on NFL rosters during the 2018 season, with
