Miguel Yuste was named Ivy League Player of the Week, while Princeton’s
Daniel Diaz Bonilla claims Rookie of the Week honors after leading their teams to 2-0 weekends.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Miguel Yuste, Yale (Sr., M – Valladolid, Spain)
- Registered four points as Yale went 2-0 and extended its win streak to nine
- Scored the game-winning goal with two minutes left in overtime as the Bulldogs edged UMass 1-0
- Tallied a goal to help Yale past Cornell, 3-1 on Friday night on ESPNU
- Contributed a team-best 17 points to help Yale to its longest unbeaten streak in a single season since the 1935-36 team finished 12-0
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Daniel Diaz Bonilla, Princeton (Fr., F – Vienna, Va.)
- Had three points as Princeton posted a 2-0 mark this week
- Assisted the game-winning goal on a Princeton counter attack that helped the team take a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute against Lehigh
- Fired a shot from 20 yards out for his second goal of the season
