Sophie Hirst was named Ivy League women’s soccer Player and Rookie of the Week.

Sophie Hirst, Harvard (Fr., F – Seattle)
- Finished the week with two goals in two games as the Crimson went 2-0
- Scored the game’s first goal, and eventual gamewinner, in Harvard’s 4-0 win over Syracuse
- Netted the game’s only goal in her team’s 1-0 win over Quinnipiac
- First Ivy to be named Player and Rookie of the Week since Brown’s Celia Story and Princeton’s Mimi Asom shared the honors on Oct. 26, 2015
- Ranked the No. 24 recruit in the class of 2018 by Top Drawer Soccer
- Volunteered at Second Sunday meals and a youth tutoring program
