PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Ivy League is home to 2-of-4 remaining FCS unbeatens—Dartmouth and Princeton—and also maintains an FCS-best .750 non-conference winning percentage (15-5) heading into the final weekend of non-conference play.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
John Lovett, Princeton (Sr., QB – Wantagh, N.Y.)
- Threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns, completing 20-of-28 passes
- Rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, averaging 9.3 yards per carry
- Propelled the Tiger offense to a program record 733 total yards in a 66-7 win over Lehigh
- Led Princeton to its second 4-0 start of the Bob Surace era (2015)
- Paces the FCS with 27.5 points responsible for per game
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Reis Seggebruch, Cornell (Sr., LB – Tomball, Texas)
- Registered a game-high 11 tackles in Cornell’s 28-24 victory over Harvard
- Posted 2.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks—with both sacks coming on key third down plays
- Seven of his 11 tackles held the Crimson to two yards-or-less
- Became the 59th player in program history to surpass 150 career tackles
- Helped Cornell to consecutive wins over Harvard for the first time since 1999 and 2000
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Taheeb Sonekan, Penn (Jr., DL – Bowie, Md.)
- Blocked a pair of field goals in Penn’s 31-27 win over Sacred Heart
- Tied the Ivy League and FCS record with two blocked field goals
- Became the first FCS player with multiple blocked field goals in a game since 2013
- Added a tackle in the Quaker victory
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dante Miller, Columbia (Fr., RB – Rockingham, N.C.)
- Rushed for 80 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per carry
- Led Columbia in rushing in a 34-24 win over Marist
- Paces all rookies and ranks seventh in the Ivy League with 67.3 rushing yards per game
- Decommitted from a scholarship offer at James Madison to commit to Columbia
