LEAGUE NOTES
- After concluding its season on a 10-1 run, including an 8-1 mark against Ivy League opposition, Columbia forced a one-game playoff against Penn for the Lou Gehrig Division title. The Lions took 3-of-4 games from the Quakers last weekend to force the playoff, which will be contested at Columbia's Robertson Field at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and the Ivy League Digital Network.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Columbia senior second baseman Kyle Bartelman (Chicago, Ill.) helped the Lions force a one-game playoff with Penn for the Lou Gehrig Division title by posting a 4-1 week, including a 3-1 series win over the Quakers.
The Chicago, Ill., native hit a team-best .455 with one double, three home runs, five runs scored and 10 RBIs as the Lions bested Rutgers, 13-7, and took 3-of-4 from Penn to stay alive in the Lou Gehrig Division. The senior slugged .909, and recorded a .500 on-base percentage, as he helped to extend his career in a Lion uniform by at least one game.
Bartelman is the second-straight Lion to be named Player of the Week, following sophomore first baseman Chandler Bengston.
