PRINCETON, N.J. -- Friday Night Lights on NBCSN returns to highlight a big weekend of #IvyFootball.
LEAGUE NOTES
• Penn (3-2, 2-0 Ivy) and Princeton (4-1, 2-0 Ivy) joined Harvard (4-1, 2-0 Ivy) at the top of the League standings with wins over Columbia (1-4, 0-2 Ivy) and Brown (1-4, 0-2 Ivy), respectively.
• For the first time since Nov. 10, 2012, Harvard suffered a road loss, falling at Holy Cross, 27-17, ending its League-record and FCS-leading 16-game road-game winning streak.
• The loss also snapped a 16-game non-conference winning streak for the Crimson, which previously lost to a non-Ivy opponent in 2011; coincidentally, also Holy Cross.
• Dartmouth (3-2, 0-2 Ivy) blocked two field goals in the final 2:19 of the game to hold off Towson, 20-17.
• Cornell (3-2, 1-1 Ivy) and Yale (1-4, 1-1 Ivy) each saw their comeback bids fall short, as the Big Red fell to Sacred Heart, 31-24, and the Bulldogs dropped a high-scoring affair to Fordham, 44-37.
• For the second-straight week, an Ivy was named FCS STATS National Freshman of the Week, with the honor going to Dartmouth’s Isiah Swann.
• Three teams appear in the national rankings. Harvard comes in at No. 23 in the coaches poll and receiving votes in STATS FCS, while Penn and Princeton are receiving votes in the STATS FCS poll.
• The upcoming week features all conference matchups on national networks, including Penn at Yale on Friday night on NBCSN.
• The key matchup on Saturday features a pair of 2-0 Ivy teams when Princeton hosts No. 23 Harvard on ESPN3 and The Ivy League Digital Network (ILDN), now available on the ILDN app on Apple TV and Roku.
• Cornell takes on Brown at noon on FOX College Sport and Columbia welcomes Dartmouth at 1:30 p.m. on ONE World Sports and ILDN.

Solomon opened and closed the scoring for Penn, as his rushing touchdown gave the team a 7-0 lead and his passing touchdown put the Quakers up 35-10

Swann recorded 13 total tackles and his interception early in the second quarter led to the Big Green’s first touchdown of the day
. He also broke up three passes as Dartmouth won its seventh-straight non-conference game.
Swann is the third Big Green to earn Defensive Player of the Week this season and the second to be named Rookie of the Week. He is the first Big Green to earn multiple Ivy League weekly awards in the same week since Alex Gakenheimer took home Rookie and Special Teams on Nov. 18, 2013.
