PRINCETON, N.J. -- Not surprisingly, the three best Ivy League baseball teams swept the postseason awards.

After a vote by the League’s eight coaches, Columbia senior outfielder Gus Craig (Eugene, Ore.) and Penn senior catcher Austin Bossart (O’Fallon, Ill.) shared Player of the Year honors, Dartmouth junior righthander Duncan Robinson (Houston) was named Pitcher of the Year, Lions freshman shortstop Randell Kanemaru (Santa Ana, Calif.) earned Rookie of the Year and his head coach Brett Boretti received the inaugural Coach of the Year award.

This is the first time in Ivy League history that Player of the Year is shared. Pitcher of the Year was split in 2002, while Rookie of the Year was shared in 1999, 2006 and 2010.

Craig batted .327 (56-for-171) with 37 runs, 13 doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 31 RBI. He is tied for the League lead in runs, ranks second in triples and fourth in hits and RBI. Craig was also named first-team All-Ivy for the second-straight season. Craig is the fourth Lion to be named Player of the Year and the first since Dario Pizzano in 2012.

Bossart hit a team-best .358 (49-for-137) with 21 runs, 13 doubles, four home runs and 27 RBI. He finished the season with a perfect fielding percentage and threw out 17 base stealers, leading the League. Bossart earns his fourth All-Ivy honor and second consecutive spot on the first team. Bossart is the fifth Quaker to receive Player of the Year honors and the first since Tom Grandieri in 2010.

Robinson finished the year with a 6-2 record and a 2.62 ERA. He made 10 appearances, all starts, with four complete games and one shutout. Robinson led the League in innings pitched (65.1), tied for first in wins and ranked third in strikeouts (52). He’s the fourth Big Green to be named Pitcher of the Year and the first since Russell Young in 2008. Robinson was also a unanimous first-team All-Ivy, his second-straight appearance on the first team.

Kanemaru gives the Lions back-to-back Rookie of the Year recipients for the first time in program history, as Will Savage took home the award in 2014. It marks the first time that one team earned consecutive such honors since Harvard in 2005-06, and the first time one team earned the awards outright in consecutive seasons since Dartmouth in 2000-01. Kanemaru hit .286 (34-for-119) with 18 runs, six doubles, three home runs and 24 RBI.

Boretti led the Lions to their third-straight Ivy League Championship Series title, defeating Dartmouth in three games. Columbia finished with a 16-4 Ivy record, matching its program-record, and held off Penn in a one-game playoff for the Gehrig Division title, 4-2.

Penn led the way with five players on the first team, followed by Columbia (four) and Dartmouth (three). Bossart is joined by sophomore pitcher Mike Reitcheck (Crystal Lake, Ill.), senior shortstop Mitch Montaldo (St. Louis), outfielders Connor Betbeze (Sr. – Kennesaw, Ga.) and Matt Greskoff (Jr. – Paoli, Pa.)., marking the most Quakers on the first team since 2011.

The Lions were represented on the first team by a pair of unanimous selections in senior third baseman David Vandercook (Boca Raton, Fla.) and senior DH Joe Falcone (Brooklyn, N.Y.), as well as Craig and junior first baseman Nick Maguire (Chester, N.J.). Besides Robinson, Dartmouth freshman reliever Patrick Peterson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) and senior shortstop Matt Parisi (Clermont, Fla.) also received first team honors.

Cornell senior pitcher Brian McAfee (Bothell, Wash.) was named to the first team for his second career All-Ivy honor after receiving second team accolades in 2012. Harvard senior catcher Ethan Ferreira (Rehoboth, Mass.), Princeton junior Dan Hoy (Sellersville, Pa.) and Yale senior utility player Eric Hsieh (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) all received their first career All-Ivy accolades.

Brown was represented on the All-Ivy teams by sophomore outfielder Rob Henry (Cranston, R.I.) on the second team and senior reliever Chris Smith (Colleyville, Texas) and junior outfielder Jake Levine (Newton, Mass.) as honorable mentions.
