NEW YORK -- It took until the seventh and final round to crown a champion at the 2015 Ivy League Fencing Round Robin. For the second year in a row, Columbia and Harvard came out as co-champions.

Round seven saw four teams at 3-1, with Princeton facing Harvard and Penn against Columbia. The No. 2 Lions trailed 8-4 through 12 matches, but quickly tied things to set up a dramatic finish. Shortly after watching their women's team win the outright women's title, Brian Ro connected on the clinching touch, guanteeing the win over the No. 7 Quakers, to claim a piece of the championship for an Ivy-record 35th time.

The No. 8 Tigers clawed back to tie the match 13-13 after trailing the No. 6 Crimson the majority of the dual. The match and day ended in the pivotal 27th bout, when Jerry Chang notched the fifth touch to give Harvard their third straight share of the Ivy trophy, setting off a team-wide celebration on the strip.

Eli Dershwitz played his part in the title, being the saber champion and only undefeated male competitor in the Round-Robin, going 15-0 for Harvard. Penn's John Vaiani went 14-1 to claim the foil title and Alex House went 11-4 for Princeton for the epee crown.
