KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Princeton junior Tyler Lussi has been named as one of 15 semifinalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy, the top award in college soccer. She is the first Ivy to be named a semifinalist for the prestigious award since Harvard's Emily Stauffer was a finalist in 1998.

While the award is balloted among the NSCAA coaches, fans also have a voice and can vote for Lussi to advance in the Hermann Award process here.

The other semifinalists for the award, presented by the Missouri Athletic Club, include Cal State Fullerton senior Rebecca Wilson, Connecticut junior Rachel Hill, Florida junior Savannah Jordan, Florida senior Christen Westphal, Florida State freshman Megan Connolly, Hofstra sophomore Leah Galton, Penn State senior Raquel Rodriguez, St. John's senior Rachel Daly, Stanford sophomore Andi Sullivan, Texas Tech senior Janine Beckie, Virginia senior Emily Sonnett, West Virginia defender Kadeisha Buchanan, West Virginia junior Ashley Lawrence and Wisconsin junior Rose Lavelle.

Three finalists will be named Dec. 11 at the NCAA men's College Cup, and the award will be presented Jan. 8, 2016 in St. Louis.

Lussi scored 15 goals this season for an average of 0.79 per game, both ranking 15th in the nation. Her 5.68 shots per game ranked third in the nation, her highest national statistical ranking heading into this weekend's College Cup semifinals and finals.

Lussi's 43 career goals are the most by a Princeton player through her junior season and just four off the Princeton career record. Lussi also had five assists this season, a career high, to give her 98 points on her career, second-most in program history.
