Men's Rowing Ivies Earn 104 IRA All-Academic Honors

CENTERVILLE, Mass. -- The Ivy League totaled 104 men's heavyweight and lightweight student-athletes receiving 2014 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) All-Academic distinction, as announced by the IRA Board of Stewards.
A total of 253 student-athletes from 28 institutions were honored, with Penn leading the way with the most heavyweight student-athletes honored (16) and Dartmouth and Princeton tying with MIT with the most lightweight student-athletes (8) recognized.
For a student-athlete to be eligible, he or she must be at least a sophomore in standing and completed one full year at his or her respective institution, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or higher, earn an institutional letter and compete at the 2014 IRA National Championships.
