PRINCETON, N.J. -- At the end of inter-divisional play, the Gehrig Division holds the distinct advantage over the Rolfe Division.
Winner of the last three Championship Series, the Gehrig Division teams went 22-8 against the squads from the Rolfe Division, including a 12-4 mark last week.
Penn (15-10, 8-0 Ivy) went 5-0 last week, including sweeps of Harvard (5-18, 1-5 Ivy) and Dartmouth (5-16, 2-6 Ivy), to extend its winning streak to a League-best 11 games. For their efforts, the Quakers were named the College Baseball Insider Team of the Week.
Penn is the first Ivy team to start the conference slate 8-0 since Dartmouth in 2009, and its 11-game winning streak is second in the nation (Sacramento State, 12) and the second-longest in program history, trailing only the 19-game run in 1989.
Princeton (9-14, 4-2 Ivy) stands in second-place in the Gehrig Division, just ahead of Cornell (13-11, 5-3 Ivy) and Columbia (11-15, 5-3 Ivy).
Yale (12-13, 5-3 Ivy) stands in first-place in the Rolfe Division after a 3-1 Ivy week that included the Bulldogs' first double-header sweep of Princeton since 1997. Brown (6-14, 0-8 Ivy) is still looking for its first Ivy win of the season.
With the lone exception of Princeton and Harvard, who will make up their DH from March 29 that was rained out on April 16 at 1:00 p.m., the Ancient Eight will only face teams within their division from now until the end of the season. This weekend features Yale at Dartmouth and Princeton at Columbia on The Ivy League® Digital Network, as well as Cornell at Penn and Brown at Harvard.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Penn senior outfielder Rick Brebner (Langhorne, Pa.) has been a key component to the team's 11-game winning streak. In five wins last week, Brebner batted .450 (9-for-20) with eight runs and 11 RBI. He hit one triple and four home runs for a slugging percentage of 1.150 and walked twice for an on-base percentage of .522.
Brebner recorded at least one hit, one run and one RBI in all five games last week, including four multi-hit performances. He went 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI in the Penn's 11-5 win over Lafayette.
Brebner takes home his second-straight Player of the Week honor, the first Quaker to accomplish the feat.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Yale sophomore reliever Chris Moates (Smithville, Ga.) was a key performer in his team's 3-2 week. He came on in the seventh inning in a scoreless tie with Cornell, pitching two innings of no-hit ball with four strikeouts, as Yale scored in the bottom of the eighth to win, 1-0. The next day, he pitched the final 2.2 innings to preserve his team's 4-2 victory over Princeton, striking out two and allowing just three hits.
Moates takes home his first career Ivy League weekly award and gives the Bulldogs back-to-back Pitcher of the Week awards for the first time since 1997, when Eric Gutshall was the recipient in consecutive weeks.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
For the first time since Dario Pizzano in 2010, a Columbia player has earned Rookie of the Week twice in the same season. Freshman infielder Will Savage (Bronx, N.Y.) batted .562 (9-for-16) in a 3-1 week for the Lions, with a double, five runs and four RBI. He also stole three bases. Savage hit safely in all four games, including three multi-hit games. In Columbia's three wins last week, Savage went 8-for-13 (.615) with five runs and three RBI.
Savage is the first Lion to receive back-to-back Rookie of the Week honors and the first Ivy to accomplish the feat since Brown's Will Marcal in 2012.
