Strong Ivy League Presence Set for World Rowing Championships

CHUNGJU, South Korea -- The Ivy League is once again set to have a strong presence on the international rowing stage with 26 participants across three countries for the 2013 World Rowing Championships scheduled for Aug. 25-Sept. 2 on the Tangeum Lake regatta course.

Former Ivies account for 22 members of USRowing's 87-person roster.

Charley Butt, recently named men's heavyweight rowing head coach at Harvard after leading the Crimson's men's lightweight program for nearly 30 years, is serving as USRowing's coach for its Lightweight Men's Double Sculls.
