Princeton’s Sophia Tornetta registered a goal as No. 14 Princeton shut down a high-powered Harvard offense in a 3-0 victory to remain the sole unbeaten Ivy team.

Up by two, Tornetta put the game out of reach for Harvard. The rookie beat the goalie to a rebound and touched it in for Princeton’s third and final goal. Princeton has not allowed a goal over the last 206:43 minutes of game action, earning consecutive shutouts during that span.

Tornetta, who has five goals and 10 assists foe 20 points as a freshman, picks up her second weekly award. Princeton has now taken home four weekly awards with MaryKate Neff earning Rookie of the Week Sept. 11 and Ryan McCarthy taking home Player of the Week Sept. 25 and Oct. 9.
