In the first week of Ancient Eight action, junior midfielder Justin Donawa helped Dartmouth to a 2-1 win in double overtime against Princeton.
The Sandys, Bermuda native put the Big Green on the board in the 62nd minute, heading home a deep pass from teammate Dawson McCartney. 113 minutes into play, Donawa then set up for a free kick and sent the ball towards the net, where Wyatt Omsberg got a piece of it, bouncing it to Matt Danilack, who headed it into the net to give Dartmouth its sixth consecutive win.
This marks the second career weekly award honor for Donawa and the first for Dartmouth in 2017. Donawa (Oct. 24) joined teammates - – Matt Danilack (Oct. 10), James Hickok (Nov. 7) and Noah Paravicini (Nov. 14) – as Big Green players to take home the honor a season ago.
