Princeton freshman defensive back CJ Wall (Plano, Texas) showed why he was given the start for his first career collegiate game, recording four tackles, one fumble recovery, one pass defense and an interception to ice the win for the Tigers against defending Pioneer League champion San Diego. He helped end two Torreros’ drives, as his fumble recovery was on the Princeton five-yard line in the first quarter.
Wall comes from a long line of football standouts, as his father played at Penn State and his uncle played at Florida State.
