Mimi Tarrant registered two goals and an assist as No. 16 Harvard (13-4, 6-1) completed one of its finest regular seasons in program history with a 4-0 win over Columbia.
The Warwickshire, England native got things going for Harvard early, taking a feed from Natalie Sicher and beating Columbia’s goalkeeper from in close at the 5:50 mark to put the Crimson up 1-0. Tarrant then found the back of the net in the 60th minute of action. With the win, Harvard set a new program record for wins in a single season, a mark established last year, when the Crimson finished the year 12-6 and 7-0 in the league play.
Tarrant, who leads all Ivy League freshmen with 33 points on the season, has been named Rookie of the Week four times this season.
