PHILADELPHIA -- The madness is upon us.

The Ivy League Women’s Basketball Tournament, presented by Citizens Bank, takes place this weekend with the semifinals on Saturday and the finals on Sunday, live from The Palestra.

The action kicks off on Saturday with top seed Penn taking on fourth-seeded Brown at 11 a.m., followed by second-seed Princeton against three-seed Harvard at 6:30 p.m., live from The Palestra.

Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN3 with a tape delay broadcast on ESPNU at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, respectively. Brenda VanLengen and Carol Ross will be on the call.

Penn earned the top seed thanks to a 13-1 Ivy record, winning its second-consecutive outright League title and third in the past four years.

Princeton took the second seed with a 9-5 League record, followed by Harvard (8-6) and Brown (7-7).
