PRINCETON, N.J. – Following a week with several impressive performances across the league, Harvard’s Gio Colasante (player), Penn’s Thomas Shurtleff (pitcher) and Yale’s Jack Ohman (rookie) earned Ivy League baseball weekly honors.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gio Colasante, Harvard (Jr., 1B/RHP – Staten Island, N.Y.)

• Went 10-for-16 (.625) with nine RBIs, four runs, two homers, a double, a 1.063 slugging percentage and .684 OBP alongside three multi-hit games
• Notched a 0.00 ERA over 5.0 innings with three strikeouts on the mound
• Posted a 1.000 fielding percentage on 24 chances

 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Thomas Shurtleff, Penn (Jr., RHP – Medfield, Mass.)

• Allowed no runs, two hits and struck out 11 batters in three relief appearances across 5.2 innings
• Struck out eight in the Princeton series in 4.2 innings, with no runs on one hit
• Pitched three no-hit and shut-out innings in Saturday's finale in extras, striking out five of the nine batters he faced

 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jack Ohman, Yale (Fy., P – Mesa, Ariz.)

• Pitched 8.0 innings while only allowing three hits and one earned run in a win over Brown
• Struck out a career-high 11 batters and only walked one
• The NCAA leader in ERA (0.23), his consecutive unearned scoreless streak was snapped at 35.1 innings
