PRINCETON, N.J. -- As part of the Ivy League’s comprehensive partnership with ESPN set to launch next week, ESPN has added three League events across three sports to its ESPNU telecast schedule this fall.
The three-game set will begin with Princeton at Columbia women’s soccer on Sunday, Oct. 14, followed by Dartmouth at Columbia men’s soccer on Friday, Oct. 19 and Princeton at Yale women’s volleyball on Friday, Oct. 26.
“One of the many benefits to our relationship with ESPN is the enhanced exposure it will provide all 33 Ivy League sports,” Ivy League Executive Director
Robin Harris said. “Each of the matchups features the top two teams in the Ivy League standings from last season and highlights programs that have demonstrated the ongoing national success of the League. We are excited to showcase these games and accomplished student-athletes on the national stage.”
In addition to the three selections, ESPN and the Ivy League previously announced that
six Ivy football games featuring all eight teams will be broadcast on ESPN linear networks in 2018, with all other home football contests available on ESPN plus.
In total, at least 20 events will be broadcast annually on ESPN linear networks while over
1,100 events will annually appear across ESPN platforms.
