Six Ivies Earn STATS FCS Preseason All-America Nods

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Six Ivies were recognized as STATS FCS Preseason All-Americans entering the 2018 campaign. 
 
The group has combined to claim 12 All-Ivy nods during their collegiate careers and includes two Ivy League Rookies of the Year (Shelton-Mosley, Dudek), an Asa S. Bushnell Cup Defensive Player of the Year finalist (Miller) and an Asa S. Bushnell Cup Offensive Player of the Year winner (Lovett). 

Harvard senior offensive lineman Larry Allen III and senior punt returner Justice Shelton-Mosley were named First Team All-Americans. 
 
Penn senior linebacker Nick Miller, Princeton senior wide receiver Jesper Horsted and Yale sophomore running back Zane Dudek earned Second Team All-America nods, while Princeton senior quarterback John Lovett reaped Third Team All-America honors. 

The 2018 Ivy League football season kicks off on Friday, Sept. 14, with six games to appear on ESPN linear networks throughout the season. The Ivy League is coming off a 2017 campaign during which it led the FCS and ranked fourth overall in NCAA Division I with a .750 non-conference winning percentage, trailing only the SEC (.825), Pac 12 (.771) and Big Ten (.762).
