OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Penn freshman attacker
Zoe Belodeau led the then-No. 11/11 Quakers with six points in a 13-11 victory over fellow Ivy League unbeaten Dartmouth.
The Potomac Falls, Md., native had a hand in 4-of-5 Penn goals as the Quakers turned a 10-8 deficit into a 13-11 win over the final 20:50. Belodeau tallied a pair of goals over the final 6:40 to break an 11-11 tie and propel the Quakers to the top of the Ivy League standings. Overall, the freshman registered four goals, two assists, two ground balls and three draw controls in the battle of Ivy League unbeatens.
Belodeau earns the second Offensive Player of the Week nod of her freshman campaign, having previously received recognition on March 19. Her brother,
Jack Belodeau, is as junior defender on the NCAA Division III University of Mary Washington men’s lacrosse team.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brown senior goalie
Mikaela Karlsson entered the game off the bench and helped the Bears turn a 13-8 deficit into a 14-13 victory over then-No. 23 Cornell. The win was Brown’s first over the Big Red since 1999.
The Framingham, Mass., product held the Big Red scoreless over the final 18:37, saving all five shots she faced in relief of sophomore goalie
Maggie Bigelow. During that span, the Brown offense netted six unanswered goals, capped by a
Caroline Zaffino game-winning tally with 2:18 remaining.
Karlsson makes it back-to-back Defensive Player of the Week awards for Brown after Bigelow snapped a three-year drought for the Bears last week. Bigelow received the nod following back-to-back non-conference wins over Louisville and Sacred Heart.
