PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton’s Maya Walton, Brown’s Brittany Park and Harvard’s Belinda Hu received the Ivy League Women’s golf postseason awards following a vote of the League’s seven coaches.

Danielle Griffiths was named the Ivy League Coach of the Year, Princeton’s Maya Walton was selected as the Player of the Year and Brown’s Brittany Park and Harvard’s Belinda Hu were tabbed as Co-Rookies of the Year.
Walton posted the best scoring average in the Ivy League this season at 74.30 through 23 rounds. The Austin, Texas., native averaged 2.39 strokes over par while posting five top-five finishes in eight tournaments. The sophomore carded a championship-low three-under par 69 in the final round of the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship at Metedeconk to finish tied for fifth and led her team to its second straight Ancient Eight title. Walton also earned First-Team All-Ivy recognition.
Park, the first golfer in Brown histroy to be named Rookie of the Year, compiled a 75.90 scoring average through 20 rounds during her freshman campaign. The Fullerton, Calif., product averaged 4.00 strokes over par and posted five top-10 finishes in eight tournaments. She tied for third at the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, carding plus-nine to earn First-Team All-Ivy honors.
Hu registered a 74.95 scoring average through 20 rounds. Hailing from San Ramon, Calif., Hu averaged 3.05 strokes over par and collected four top-10 finishes in seven tournaments. The rookie finished tied for fifth at the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, shooting 10-over par to land a spot on First-Team All-Ivy.
Griffiths, who took over the program in 2007, guided Brown to a third-place finish at the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, it’s best team finish since the Bears’ took third from 2001-03. Griffiths' team carded a 917 (307-307-303-917) and claimed a League-high three All-Ivy recipients for top 10 finishes.
Princeton and Brown each produced three All-Ivy honorees. Harvard and Dartmouth fostered a pair of All-Ivy golfers, while Columbia and Yale were represented by one golfer each.
The All-Ivy teams are based on the results from the Ivy League Men's Golf Championship. The top five finishers, including ties, are recognized as First Team All-Ivy golfers, while the next five finishers, including ties, are honored as Second Team All-Ivy recipients.
