Princeton, N.J. — The Ivy League is pleased to announce a groundbreaking multiyear relationship with Porsche to be an Official Partner of the Ivy League. JMI Sports, the official marketing rights agency of the Ivy League, negotiated the agreement with Porsche Cars North America and Excel Sports Management.

Porsche will activate at major Ivy League events, including the Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments on March 10 and 11 at the iconic Palestra on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Leading up to and following the Ivy League Basketball Tournament, Porsche will have a year-round presence at championships and other Ivy League events.

“I am delighted to welcome Porsche as a partner of the Ivy League,” said Executive Director Robin Harris. “Our student-athletes thrive on challenge and push themselves to be the best they can be on and off the field. We are excited to work with an organization that shares our values.”

Jacob Harb, Porsche Cars North America Vice President of Area East, stated, “On behalf of all our Porsche dealers, employees and customers, we are proud to support the Ivy League ideals of excellence in academics and athletics.”

As part of the deal, Porsche will also be an Official Sponsor of Penn Athletics. In addition to the partnership with Porsche, JMI Sports has also reached agreements for the Ivy League with Coca-Cola, Nike, Citizens Bank and Under Armour.

“We are very pleased to add Porsche to the select group of partners for the Ivy League,” said Erik Judson, CEO of JMI Sports. “The brands of Porsche, the Ivy League and Penn fit extremely well together, and we look forward to unlocking the collective value of this important relationship for years to come.”
