PRINCETON, N.J. -- For the 10th time overall, and the first since 2008, two #IvyFootball alums are heading to the NFL Pro Bowl.

Brown alum James Develin (New England) and Harvard alum Kyle Juszczyk (San Francisco) each got the nod for the Pro Bowl, marking the first time since the Bears' Zak DeOssie and Sean Morey each received the honor in 2008 that two Ivies earned Pro Bowl berths in the same year.

Develin was named the starter at fullback for the AFC. The former Brown defensive lineman, who spent time in the Arena Football League, United Football League and Cincinnati practice squad before coming to New England in 2012, receives his first career Pro Bowl honor. This season, Develin has tied a career-high in receptions with six to go along with 38 receiving yards, while helping the Patriots rank 10th in rushing and first in total offense.

Juszczyk earning the starting role as the NFC’s fullback. Juszczyk joins Birk (six selections) as the only two former Harvard football players to earn multiple Pro Bowl selections in their NFL careers. Juszczyk, a 2017 Pro Bowl selection with the Baltimore Ravens, joined the San Francisco 49ers last off season via free agency. In his first year with his new team, Juszczyk started 10 games and played in 14, finishing with 315 receiving yards on 33 catches, with one TD. He also rushed for 31 yards on seven carries.
