Brown’s all-time leading scorer, Earl Hunt tallied 2,041 career points, while leading the program to three-straight winning seasons and the lone National Invitation Tournament (NIT) appearance in the university’s history. Hunt led the Ivy League in scoring in 1999-2000 (18.8) and 2002-03 (20.1) and became the Bears second three-time first-team All-Ivy honoree. He ranks fourth on the Ivy League’s all-time scoring list.
Hunt helped Brown to a then-school record 17 wins during his junior and senior campaigns in 2001-02 and 2002-03. The 2002-03 season also featured a school record 12 Ivy League wins, vaulting the Bears into the NIT. In all, Hunt tallied an 18.9 points per game scoring average, which ranks second at Brown. His 692 career field goals are a Brown career record, while his 499 career free throws are ranked third in program history.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University in 2003, Hunt got a job on Wall Street at Citigroup, where he worked from 2006-2015. He currently works as the Vice President of Distressed Sales at Goldman Sachs and serves on Brown’s President’s Leadership Council, an advisory group of alumni, parents and friends of the University.
